Oregon Berry began growing and processing black raspberries in 1954. Today, we supply a majority of the black raspberry market. This unique berry is prized for its strong, dark purple color as well as its flavor and is found in specialty jams, jellies and other food products as a coloring agent.
Our black raspberries are picked by hand and by machine then processed in our plant under strict quality standards. A blower removes field debris, then berries are washed and sorted by hand. Black raspberries are usually frozen whole in pails or barrels, or they are available as a concentrate or puree.
